2026 Guided Walks & Train Rides Now Available!

We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Claire Goodman-Jones, offering guided walks alongside a scenic train ride! Explore the stunning landscape around the railway with an experienced guide, uncover hidden gems, and enjoy the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Walks this year:

Arrive Devil’s Bridge at 11:30 Return in time for the 15:45 train. Walk maximum 3 hours

  • 16th May 2026 The Arch linear. A stunning route nearly all off road along grassy paths and tracks heading gradually to landmark “The Arch” offering excellent views over Devils Bridge and to the Cambrian mountains to the East. 4.5 miles, moderate.
  •  20th June 2026 Devils Bridge rural circular. A peaceful short walk but with some steeper parts all mostly all on rural grassy paths but offering stunning mountain views over Devils Bridge. 3.5 miles, moderate.
  •  19th July 2026 Trisant country loop. A tranquil country lane walk which heads around a beautiful mountain lake in the village of Trisant near Devils Bridge. Majority or route is quiet lane walking. 4.5 miles, moderate
  •  15th August 2026 Devils Bridge & Arch Vista walk. A longer walk with magnificent views in multiple directions mostly along grassy paths taking in views of Devils Bridge and also visiting the historic Trisant Church and Arch landmark. 6.5 miles, moderate.
  • 19th September 2026 The Arch linear. A stunning route nearly all off road along grassy paths and tracks heading gradually to landmark “The Arch” offering excellent views over Devils Bridge and to the Cambrian mountains to the East. 4.5 miles, moderate.

We’re thrilled to begin a collaboration with local Mountain Leader Claire Goodman-Jones, offering guided walks alongside a scenic train ride! Explore the stunning landscape around the railway with Claire, uncover hidden gems, and enjoy the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Combine a train trip behind one of our heritage steam locomotives, and then launch in to the amazing landscape of the Cambrian Mountains, accompanied by your own qualified walk guide, Claire Goodman-Jones. Claire has devised several walks throughout the year, with different routes, sights and highlights.
