Tickets for Pete Waterman’s World Record Breaking Model Railway are Now On-Sale!

This October half term, witness history in motion as Pete Waterman’s legendary model railway goes on public display for the very first time since securing the Guinness World Record for the Largest Portable Model Railway.

From 25th October to 2nd November, the Vale of Rheidol Railway’s museum in Aberystwyth will host the entire 208-foot-long layout – so large it just fits within the museum’s impressive 212-foot gallery.
With over half a mile of intricate track, this is a model railway on a scale like no other.

For the first time ever, visitors will have the opportunity to operate parts of the railway themselves – a hands-on experience perfect for families, enthusiasts, and curious minds alike.

Previously kept within Pete Waterman’s private collection, this exhibition is the first time it has been fully assembled, following its record-breaking unveiling at
Model World Live in April 2024.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime event! Tickets are now available and expected to sell quickly, marking only the second time it has been exhibited since its record-setting unveiling.
