Service Revision August 2025
As the hot weather continues we have little choice but to operate a reduced orange timetable on from Monday 18th August to Sunday 24th August, with the 12:15 and 15:45 departures now cancelled. If you are booked on these cancelled services, we will be in touch to offer alternatives.
Our Garratt locomotive No. 60 will be in operation on the 10:30 and 14:00 departures. Due to the dry conditions and associated fire risk capacities may be reduced so we strongly advised pre-booking. Journey times may also be a little longer but we will ensure all passengers get the full 1 hour stopover at Devil’s Bridge.
We are constantly assessing the conditions as will provide an update on the remainder of the week as soon as possible.
