Community & Family Day – 25th May 2024

The Vale of Rheidol Railway will be hosting a Community & Family Day in their new museum in Aberystwyth station on Saturday 25th May.

The event will feature stalls, displays and interactive activities from those who keep us safe in Ceredigion. Displays are expected from the following organisations:

– St John’s Ambulance (plus Cadets & Badgers)
– HM Coastguard
– Trefechan Fire Service
– RNLI (‘Float to live’ campaign)
– British Transport Police
– the Network Rail level crossing team
– the Cambrian Rail Partnership
– Network Rail (including Road/Rail vehicle, and drone flying)
– Transport for Wales
– MIND Cymru
….and more!

The day will also feature a live performance from Welsh language community music ensemble “Iwcadwli” at 1pm.

It will be the first Saturday of May half term: why not come down? Activities will be suitable for all the family. Entrance is £5 adults/£3 children, or free if you are travelling on the train.
